Product management feels like such an unknown because you’re expected to do things that you never formally learn how to do: like writing PRDs, talking to customers, define pricing, and more. In my last 1.5 years as a full time product manager, I’ve learned A LOT and I’ve had so many growth/learning arcs that I want to detail so that you get a closer view of what you can learn as a product manager and not worry that you don’t have the skill set to become one. So much about the job is gained through experience as shown through the perspectives and skills I’ve gained. Truly do not worry about all the product management lingo that you hear on the internet — we all had to learn it through the job — you’re not behind :)
