Highlights From 2024 Town Hall Meeting #1 (4K)

Описание: We'd like to thank everyone who attended Monday’s town hall meeting at the Frank Seals Gymnasium in District B, and everyone behind the scenes who helped to make it such a great event. Turnout was terrific, from both residents and city officials. We had close to 60 residents and over 30 city officials from the Houston Police Department, Fire Department, Office of Emergency Management, Public Works, Parks and Recreation, Health, Neighborhoods, Housing & Community Development, Solid Waste Management, Administration & Regulatory Affairs, and the Mayor’s Office of Special Events. With everyone's help, we were able to accomplish the goal of bringing city hall to the residents.

We were also grateful to have in attendance staff from Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo, State Senator Borris Miles, Council Member Tarsha Jackson, Council Member Carolyn Evans-Shabazz, Council Member Twila Carter, Council Member Letitia Plummer, and Council Member Sallie Alcorn.
