Part 4 of 8 - Blade Sharpening For Milling Lumber
http://AskWoodman.com/ In this fourth video of the series I show my technique for reinstalling the planer knives accurately back into the machine after sharpening on the Makita Blade Sharpener. I also talk about thickness planer features and emphasis the importance of having a planer that facilitates easy blade changes. This is very important because always having sharp knives in your machines reduces wear and tear on the machine and produces a much smoother surface, thereby greatly reducing sanding and finishing time.
In this video I'm working with the Hitachi P100-F. Although you may have a different machine, the basics remain the same.
