Welcome to the Safo Music Songwriting Days.

Our Songwriting Days bring creative people together at Safo Music Studios in London for a full day of writing, collaborating and making new connections.

Working in small groups, you'll start the day with a blank page and spend the next few hours developing ideas, lyrics, melodies and arrangements — before performing the brand-new song you've created together at the end of the day.

Whether you're an experienced songwriter, artist, singer, musician or producer, the day is about stepping outside your usual creative circle, meeting new people and discovering what can happen when different musical ideas come together.

The sessions are led by Gold & Platinum-selling songwriter and producer Laurence Hobbs, who works with the groups throughout the day, helping develop ideas and get the very best from each song.

Many people come on their own, and many of our attendees return for future Songwriting Days. We've also seen writers meet at Safo and continue collaborating long after the workshop has finished.
