Guests step straight off the thrilling water ride into a world of souvenirs where they can pick up their on-ride photos along with apparel, collectibles, toys, and memorabilia inspired by every film in the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World series. From plush raptors to replica fossils, themed clothing, jewelry, sundries, and gifts, this shop is a must-stop for dinosaur fans looking to take a piece of Jurassic Park home. Jurassic Outfitters can also be accessed from the main path, making it easy to explore even if you are not riding the Jurassic Park River Adventure.

Jurassic Park River Adventure, which opened with Islands of Adventure in 1999, remains one of the park’s most iconic attractions. This water-based ride takes guests on a peaceful cruise through dinosaur habitats before everything goes wrong and you come face to face with a towering T-Rex before plunging down an 85-foot drop. The ride is a favorite for thrill-seekers and perfectly complements the prehistoric atmosphere of the Jurassic Park land. Guests can also explore other experiences in the area such as Pteranodon Flyers, Camp Jurassic, the Jurassic Park Discovery Center, and the high-speed Jurassic World VelociCoaster, which opened in 2021 and has quickly become one of the top roller coasters in the world.

Jurassic Outfitters is part of the larger Jurassic Park area themed to John Hammond’s dream of a dinosaur theme park, based on Michael Crichton’s novels and Steven Spielberg’s blockbuster films. The land connects to Toon Lagoon, Skull Island, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter Hogsmeade, making it a central part of any Islands of Adventure day.

Universal’s Islands of Adventure, which opened in 1999, is one of four incredible theme parks at Universal Orlando Resort. Alongside Islands of Adventure, guests can enjoy Universal Studios Florida with Diagon Alley and Minion Land, Volcano Bay water theme park with Krakatau Aqua Coaster, and Epic Universe which is now open featuring Super Nintendo World, Dark Universe, Isle of Berk, and Celestial Park.
