ਫਤਿਹਗੜ੍ਹ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਪੀਰ ਜਾਨ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਯਾਦ ਉਹ ਸਮਾਂ ਹੈ ਜਦੋਂ ਮੁਗਲ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਦੀ ਬਹਾਰ ਇੱਥੇ ਵੱਸਦੀ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਪਿੰਡ ਇੱਕ ਮਸਜਿਦ ਸਮੇਤ ਜੈਣ ਖਾਨ ਦੀ ਕਬਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਥਾਮਦਾ ਸੀ—ਜੋ ਅਹਿਮਦ ਸ਼ਾਹ ਅਬਦਾਲੀ ਦਾ ਜਵਾਈ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਆਖਰੀ ਸਿਰਹਿੰਦ ਜੰਗ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸ਼ਹੀਦ ਹੋਇਆ। ਅੱਜ ਤਾਂਬੇ ਦੀ ਛਤ ਖਤਮ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੀ, ਤੋਭਾ ਸੁੱਕ ਚੁੱਕਾ, ਤੇ ਪਤਥਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਕੂੰਏ ਟੁੱਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਇਹ ਥਾਵਾਂ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਗੂੰਜਾਂ ਵਜੋਂ ਜਾੱਗ ਰਹੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
