Описание: In this lecture, we explore cont. phase modulation techniques, in particular MSK and GMSK. We discuss CPFSK modulation and then show that MSK can be thought of as sinusoidal pulse-shaped OQPSK. From that fact, we proceed to analyze the PSD, constellation, and probability of error of MSK. Finally, we discuss GMSK, in particular the ISI vs. spectral compactness tradeoff.
