2004 GMC 2500 Bose Amplifier fix / Stereo fix

Today I am working on my 2004 GMC Sierra 2500 pickup truck. This trick will work with any Chevrolet or GMC that has the BOSE stereo system. When I bought the truck, the windshield was leaking. I got it fixed at Competition Chev, shortly after fixing my windshield, my stereo would randomly stop working. The stereo itself would light up, and I could hear static every once in a while. So I determined it was not the stereo head set or the speakers. I called the dealer to see how much a BOSE amplifier is, it cost over $800 Canadian.
So I went to the scrap yard (Pick and Pull) and found a suburban that had no seats in it, which made it a bit easier to yank the amp out, but was still not a fun process. After working hard to take it out, I figured I could use either a wrench or a 1/4 ratchet to not have to take the extra time to remove all the center console.
