Swara Homeo Gurukul……the dream and vision of one man, Dr. Shekhar Algundgi, had humble beginnings. A handful of eager learners and an enthusiastic teacher, imparting in a village under a tree. The concept remains, but the number of participants has grown into a huge family with members from all over the country.
Set amidst picturesque surroundings in Hativ village in Sangameshwar Taluka of Ratnagiri district in Konkan, the Gurukul hosts four workshops in a year in March, May, September and December. The science and art of homeopathy at its best, is taught here; in an eco-friendly & traditional environment.
The Gurukul’s workings are steeped in traditions; preserving the values of being eco-friendly and inclusive. Nature walks, yoga, meditations and simple but wholesome food served in traditional patravallis. The day begins at dawn, filled with enriching learning and other stimulating activities; and ends in the evening with relaxing interactions, drawing the participants together into a close- knit unit.
