Clinic Stars is a dream pop duo from Detroit, Michigan, consisting of Christian Molik and Giovanna Lenski.
Their music blends elements of shoegaze, slowcore, and ambient pop, characterized by lush textures and ethereal tones.
Formed in 2019, they have released two EPs—10,000 Dreams (2021) and April’s Past (2022)—followed by their debut album Only Hinting in 2024, released on the Kranky label.   
Molik and Lenski met when Lenski reached out to Molik after discovering his music online, leading her to relocate to Detroit and form the band.
They record in their home studio, crafting music that contrasts Detroit’s industrial landscape with dreamy soundscapes.  
Their sound has been compared to artists like Slowdive and My Bloody Valentine, known for gauzy, rapturous slowcore.
Live performances expand to a five-piece band, enhancing their immersive sound.  
Clinic Stars has been featured on platforms like NTS Radio and Stereogum, gaining recognition in the dream pop and shoegaze communities.
