In the last minute and due to work commitments, Michael York was unable to attend the FICG (Festival Internacional de Cine de Gijon) in July 1994. He sent us this demo reel instead - which we screened prior to showing "The Long Shadow", a film directed by Vilmos Zsigmond and starring Michael.
I still remember and cherish the few conversations I had with Michael York, over the phone, in that distant summer of 1994.
The Demo Reel is a good and quick way of examining the interesting career of this talented British actor who, for reasons unknown, never achieved the leading stardom that I believe he would have deserved.
