Amtrak and Metra BNSF action at Roosevelt Rd Chicago, IL 02/15/26

Описание: After going to Skydeck Chicago and getting lunch with my dad, we spent a little time at the Roosevelt Road overpass for some Metra and Amtrak action before getting our train back to Joliet. Even on a Sunday there was still quite a bit of action. On the Amtrak side, I was able to get the Northbound Amtrak Texas Eagle, Westbound Amtrak Wolverine Service, a very late Westbound Amtrak Floridian, the Westbound Amtrak Southwest Chief backing into union station for their departure a bit later, and the Westbound Amtrak Empire Builder building their train. I did see a couple Metra BNSF trains one being a doubleheader with F40PHM-3s. The Sears Tower (yes I know it's Willis Tower but I still call it the Sears Tower) provides a nice backdrop. I hope to come back to this spot someday on a weekday to get more action. Enjoy and don't forget to comment and subscribe!!
