Описание: For many people, maths feels less like a subject and more like a verdict — a quiet conclusion about who is capable and who is not. This talk questions how those conclusions are formed and why they tend to linger. Speaking from the perspective of someone still actively learning, it offers a thoughtful reexamination of what makes certain subjects feel intimidating in the first place and whether difficulty is always what it seems. Blending reflection with a few unexpectedly practical shifts, it gently challenges the narratives we’ve accepted about intelligence, ability, and the way we learn and to imagine what might change if those narratives were rewritten. Nishtha isn’t a math prodigy, but she’s curious, confident, and unafraid to question what she doesn’t understand. Through challenges and persistence, she’s learning her way through mathematics and, along the way, making it feel a lot less intimidating and a lot more human.
