The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAOUN) supports the Philippine Government, through the National Nutrition Council, in its efforts to address malnutrition in the country. The Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition 2017-2022 underscores the need for nutrition-sensitive interventions such as food production, school gardening, building of farm-to-market roads and other programs related to agriculture. This video supports the advocacy for and highlights the importance of nutrition-sensitive interventions on eradicating hunger and malnutrition.
