Introduction
Recovering TC Endpoint from Boot Failure - TFTP procedure
Prerequisites
Break the boot sequence and try running selectsw command once, as it may help to recover the unit if an active image is present on the codec. Incase selectsw process fails, then try the TFTP process.
Requirements
Uboot.bin: Bootloader file
pkgextract.elf uused for package Extraction
TFTP Server: to store the package file from where the codec can download the file
DHCP Server: To assign an IP address to the codec so that it can communicate on LAN
Crossover Cable: To have IP connectivity to the codec
Laptop: send command to the codec and setup TFTP/DHCP (if required)
Console Cable: DB9 to USB cable
