1/2 Horsepower Sump Pumps - Andy's Pipe Dream

Описание: Andy with Andy's Pipe Dream here and I would like to welcome you to another one of our tech talks. Today I want to drill down on why we more often than not recommend a half horsepower Zoeller pump over our standard 3/10 horsepower Zoeller pump in the Kansas City area.

Previous models allowed sufficient horsepower to keep your basement dry. But as weather patterns change we see more and more that this isn't always the case.

More horsepower equals more pumping power. On a typical installation our 3/10 hp Zoeller pump can discharge 34 gallons per minute. Our 1/2 horsepower Zoeller pump? 60. 60 gallons per minute. While it's not quite double, it's a huge improvement over 34 gallons.

And typically where we see pumps getting overwhelmed, upgrading to the half horsepower Zoeller does the trick. While a 3/10 HP pump is sufficient in most homes, stepping up to the 1/2 Zoeller in our opinion is money well spent.
