Big Update! Caution Money Discontinued on GeM!

Описание: Government e Marketplace has removed the Caution Money Deposit requirement for seller registration. This is a major step towards inclusivity and ease of doing business through GeM.

Earlier, MSEs and small businesses had to pay an upfront deposit based on their turnover. With this change, seller onboarding is now completely free, enabling more businesses to participate, grow, and succeed on GeM. Sellers who had already deposited caution money will also receive refunds. This initiative is set to encourage a wider seller participation, more choices for buyers, and strengthen India’s public procurement ecosystem.
