Описание: A brief lore intro to the playable Warmachine faction of Cryx, fully named the Nightmare Empire of Cryx, and the Mercenary sub-faction encompassing the Talion Charter theme which is essentially the, generally speaking, Chaotic Neutrally aligned living Pirates.

Addendum – the ship plans for the Talion and Calamitas are original designs by Privateer Press’ creative & art team, but I will nonetheless apologise to naval architects should they offend your sensibilities! To a lesser extent, this also applies to the officer hierarchy aboard the ships (though in this case, I adopt more of a ‘sorry, not sorry’ sort of position!). No art or schematics exist for Ill Fortune, unfortunately. Again, some suppositions are made, including the source of Montador’s nickname, which, while sensible, are not explicitly mentioned in the source materials. The script includes one potential sticking point at which “across the Meredius” is mentioned (this is meant to infer “throughout” as opposed to “on the other side of”) and as a clarifier, though the Cryxian fleets do hold superiority over the waters around the coast of western Immoren, it is a slim one, something that isn’t indicated at. The artwork for Venethrax is re-used when covering Toruk’s relationship with the Lich Lords as he is the only current Lich Lord who was one of the original twelve to be empowered by the Dragonfather who has official artwork attributed to his character.
