Here's a cursory overview of the requirements to get ATAK working over the AREDN mesh network, and a demo to prove that it works. Be aware that AREDN provides great speed and can go significant distances but is very dependent on line of sight.

The basic steps to replicate this are to flash AREDN to your compatible radios. On your small wifi router configure it to function as a bridge then connect it to your AREDN radio. Connect your device running ATAK to the wifi router you set up as a bridge. Configure the outputs in ATAK as necessary so each device has an entry. Something to consider: by default an AREDN radio only reserves 5 IP addresses, so you could make an output for all five IP addresses of every AREDN radio and that will be used, and then everything would be covered.
