Historic photos show the beginning of Rupp Arena, downtown convention center

Описание: The Lexington, Ky. sports arena, convention and exhibition halls was built in 1976 for $50 million. Construction began in 1974 for the home of the University of Kentucky basketball team. The Civic Center Shops, Hyatt hotel was also built next door.
