This is the second of a two-part Public Advocacy Webinar Series hosted by FH Europe on behalf of the European Cardiovascular Health Alliance (EACH). The series focuses on the recent EU Council Conclusions on Cardiovascular Health and the forthcoming European Cardiovascular Health Plan.
Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) remain the leading cause of death in Europe, claiming nearly 4 million lives each year. In response, the Council of the EU adopted landmark conclusions in December 2024, calling for urgent, coordinated prevention and care strategies. The very next day, the EU Commissioner for Health announced plans to develop a comprehensive EU Cardiovascular Health Plan.
