In Japanese, foreigners’ names are usually not written in kanji, but rather often presented in katakana, one of Japan’s alphabets.
When the name Lucas is written in katakana, it appears like this: ルーカス (RU-U-KA-SU)
We search for kanji that can be read the same way, and using those phonetic characters, we create a name in kanji.
This time we created the following name in Kanji: 流羽火寿
流 can be read as “RU,” and means “a style” or “flow.”
羽 can be read as “U,” and means "feather" or “wing.”
火 can be read as “KA,” and means “fire.”
寿 can be read as “SU,” and means “congratulations” or “longevity.”
When we combine the kanji 流 + 羽 + 火 + 寿 Lucas’s name in kanji (流羽火寿) is then complete.
It’s possible that Japanese people won’t recognize the phonetic reading of 流羽火寿 (Lucas’s kanji) right away, but when presented together with furigana (the katakana pronunciation), they will surely understand.

努 can be read as “DO,” and means “make an effort.”
竜 can be read as “RYU,” and means “dragon.”
When we combine the kanji 安 + 努 + 竜 Andrew’s name in kanji (安努竜) is then complete.
