The Casks of Lindores is a series highlighting the component parts that make up the core Single Malt Whisky bottling from the Lindores Abbey Distillery. The first release was a whisky matured solely in ex-Bourbon barrels, the second edition was matured exclusively in shaved, toasted and recharred barrels that previously held Spanish Rioja red wine, and this third and final limited edition release spends its life only in Oloroso Sherry butts. It’s bottled at a chosen strength of 49.4% ABV – as with the other two bottlings - with no chillfiltration taking place and no colour added.
