There are place I remember and people that I love
All these places had their moments now the memories are lost
I can see them in my mind and I dream of them sometimes
Getting old has its troubles and staying young means we have died.
Time has change all these places most of them are not the same
And the people that I love are much older or in the grave
I have traveled and I have seen the beauty and the misery
Everyone is searching for the answer but the question never changed.
There are places I remember some of them I love or hate
The only things that didn’t charge were the street signs with their names
My grandfather’s ranch was destroyed so that someone can make progress
So the build a shopping center destroying the place I loved
We all had our moments we had dreams and we told stories
Now my mother and my farther are resting in their graves
And all my family members are old and dying fast
The only hope I have are in the photographs I snapped
There are places I remember and people that I love
