STORYLINE:


The Afghanistan capital of Kabul suffered more heavy bombing on Sunday.

American warplanes bombed the outskirts of the capital targeting Taliban positions, forcing people living nearby to flee their homes.

Later on Sunday, the World Food Programme (WFP) delivered food aid to those displaced by the bombing.

Crowds of mostly women swarmed the aid trucks as they arrived at a suburb in northern Kabul.

During the bombing a marble factory was hit by five bombs.

Two guards were killed and the factory was totally destroyed.
