For PSJA ISD student Sammy Gomez, it's been his lifelong dream to play sports, especially football.
Most recently, the Escalante Middle School Football team helped make his dream come true by allowing Sammy to play!
According to his proud parents, Sammy who has Down Syndrome, does not let anything get in his way and has always loved playing sports and learning.
Since attending elementary at PSJA ISD, Sammy has discovered his love for athletics and dance by being part of numerous opportunities to play and perform alongside the rest of his classmates. He is even part of the Folkloric team where he gets to show off his dance moves!
