A few weeks ago I had an idea as to how to improve upon Har-Bal Multiband Gate plugin, and give it a superior performance compared to the original, and quite possibly, other available noise reduction tools. I've just had a chance to try out the change and have a buggy version going, but the performance is quite amazing I think. Easily superior to the original with essentially the same CPU demands as the original. Obviously, it is not officially released so you won't be able to try it out but I will post a notification when it is released. The example given was recorded with a Logitech Webcam c925e, both video and audio. Equalised with Har-Bal Harmonic Balancer, mixed with Har-Bal Spatial Pan, Synthetic Space and Limiter plugins in Cubase, with noise reduction provided by my development build of Har-Bal Multiband Gate.
