A loaded ghost gun was seized from a 17-year-old student at Westlake High School in Charles County, Maryland, on Thursday, 7News Maryland Bureau Chief Brad Bell has confirmed.
No shots were fired, and there were no injuries, but the student has been arrested and charged as an adult, officials said.
This started when a school administrator smelled a "strong odor of marijuana" when the student entered the school, according to a letter by Westlake High School Principal Dana Fenwick.
