Today marks the beginning of the Global Youth Day: Virtual Week of Prayer.
Our theme for this week is: “ Communion in Action .”
A reminder that faith is not only something we believe, but something we live out through our actions, service, and connection with others.
We are blessed today to have Thubelihle Maduma as our speaker, who will be sharing the message with us.
May we open our hearts and minds as we begin this special week together.
🌟 Day 1 Challenge – Global Youth Day: Week of Prayer
Today’s challenge is simple: Reach out to a young person.
Take a moment today to connect with a youth or young adult who is not part of our church community. You can:
Send them an encouraging message
Invite them for a short conversation or check-in
Pray for them or with them
Ask how their week is going and listen
The goal today is connection. Sometimes the biggest impact begins with a simple conversation.
If you are able, write down who you reached out to and what you did. This will help us reflect on the impact we are making during the week.
Let’s put Communion in Action today.
