The NEW HB R1016 v2 and the small but mighty LDRC LD18499 hit the rc trail on a Winter morning

It's a cold wet Winter morning, a good time to sit by the fire and hibernate . . . . but we are out there with the trail trucks again! This time we have a couple of small scale beauties!

So long as you work within reasonable limits, these trucks are a huge amount of fun, and their simplistic design means that you can mod these to your heart's content.

Out of the box though, they perform really well. Could maybe use a little more power and grippier tyres, but that might make the challenges too easy!

We are out in a forest here, but you could build an awesome backyard course for these in a small space!

Both of these were from Aliexpress. The prices can fluctuate but neither will break the bank. Be warned though - these are a gateway into bigger and more expensive crawlers once you get the bug . . .
