Individuals who wish to obtain the Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) certification, must have at least one (1) year of work experience. Students completing courses on a part-time basis can obtain the work experience requirement within five (5) years before or five (5) years after the start date of their first successful attempt of the Canadian Payroll Association's Payroll Compliance Legislation (PCL) course. Students completing the PCP courses as part of a full-time private career college or public college academic program will have their timeline start from the end date of their Payroll Fundamentals 2 (PF2) course.
