Hollow Knight: Silksong - Sea of Sorrow (Teaser) | Piano Cover (Intermediate Level) | arr. Ylan Chu

Описание: This is my arrangement of the teaser trailer music for Hollow Knight: Silksong - Sea of Sorrow (composed by Christopher Larkin) for intermediate piano. Not (yet) requested by my students because this trailer just dropped a couple hours ago and I know they will request it, so I wanted to surprise them for their classes today. It is written in the original key so that you can play along with the track. There is only a count-in of two beats as it starts on a pickup.

Notes:
• I stayed up late so I could quickly put this together to surprise my students with it. I arranged it, played it once through, then recorded it, so this is more a read-through than a "performance."
• Starts as double treble clef, then reverts to the usual treble/bass.
• I roll the chords before the beat so that the RH lands on beat 1 as it normally would.
• You could add the bass chords at the opening with arpeggiations, but I thought it would be more effective to keep it for the second half (more level-appropriate as well).
• The final chord is LH/RH/LH and top octaves land together [check the stem directions]. I split it, but you could take the top octave with RH.
• Pedal: I change at the beginning of each measure-ish and clear before most new phrases. Catch the rolled chords with pedal. Of course, use your own judgment to avoid it sounding too washy.
