Cachuma Lake Campground Walking Tour in Santa Barbara| 4K

Описание: I've been wanting to go camping this year and finally had the chance to take some time off to make it happen! With the hurricane-turned-tropical storm in sight, I was worried that my trip would have to be canceled, but luckily, the storm passed by pretty quickly and instead the weather was perfect for this mini-vacation.

I decided to drive a few hours north of Los Angeles into Santa Barbara County to camp for a few days at Cachuma Lake. This was truly a hidden gem having not been posted in any of the state park websites I looked at. The lake is so beautiful and I of course had to pick a spot right next to the water for the most premium sunsets. The campground was surprisingly well-kept and had a vast selection of amenities that I didn't even expect including a disc golf course, a pool, a general store, and a nature center amongst many other things to see and do--it was a really nice surprise. Since it's a drinking reservoir, swimming in the lake is prohibited, but kayaking and canoeing are permitted. I 100% recommend this campground and hope I can revisit one day--probably on a weekend when the nature center and free events are open!
