Today I spoke with Dr. Luis Garza, an Associate Professor of Dermatology at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where he combines clinical expertise in wound care with ground-breaking research on skin stem cells and regeneration. Recently, his lab published on a clinical trial conducted to increase tissue thickness through the injection of fibroblasts taken from the patient's feet. We discuss more and other interesting experiments.
