Take a first look at openSUSE Leap 16.0 and SLES 16.0. In this video, we walk through the new Agama installer, SELinux-by-default security model, and setting up GNOME for RDP remote desktop access. You’ll see how to join Leap 16 to an Active Directory domain using realmd and SSSD, verify DNS and computer accounts from RSAT/PowerShell, and enable Cockpit for modern web-based management. We’ll also spin up openSUSE Leap 16.0 under WSL 2, fix classic SUSE sudo behavior for local admin accounts, and run updates from the integrated terminal in VS Code.
