Spicy Lamb/Mutton Chops Recipe

I'm not a great fan of lamb chops, but this way of doing chops is well worth trying for an appetiser.
Ingredients
6 lamb chops
The marinade
180 ml (6 fl oz) plain yoghurt
Juice of 1 lemon
1½ tsp garlic & ginger paste
1 tsp tomato paste
½ tsp salt
½ tsp coriander powder
½ tsp chilli powder
½ tsp cumin powder
½ tsp fenugreek powder
½ tsp cinnamon powder
4 tbsp vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
Mix the marinade ingredients together. Add the chops, cover and allow to marinade for 3 – 5 hours.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the chops for about 5 minutes, turning once.
Add in the remaining marinade and cook vigorously for about 15 minutes, turning the chops from time to time.
When the chops are nicely browned, serve and enjoy!
Titli's Tips
These chops make a great appetiser. Usually 2 chops per person is enough. Serve with pickles and a wedge of lemon.
The marinade is great for barbecues too!
