In honor of these Surrealist Women, these heroines, we are thrilled to announce an online panel featuring some of the important female subjects of the past and present who first-hand have created and participated as a Surrealist Woman or advocated for the legacy of Surrealist Women. Please join us on International Women’s Day next Friday, March 8th at 11 am Pacific Standard Time for a special online panel “Surrealist Women” with a discussion moderated by Dawn Adès featuring a very special international group of panelists as follows:
Gloria Orenstein will be joining us from New York on her 86th Birthday as our special and surprise guest with a talk on her early meeting with Leonora and the women salons she co-founded.

Mohsen will discuss his new and best-selling extensive biography on Joyce Mansour published in Arabic by Sefsafa Publishing and a forthcoming book of translations in Arabic of Mansour’s complete prose works.
