Valve lash specs:
intake 0.15-0.19mm (0.006 - 0.007 in.)
exhaust 0.26-0.30mm (0.010 - 0.012 in.)

Keeping your Honda's valve lash within factory specs is important. Valves that are out of adjustment will cause bad engine performance, poor fuel economy, rough idle, and can even cause the engine to stall at idle. This 2007 Honda Fit Sport had ALL of the symptoms listed above, so today I'll show how to adjust the valves to get the engine running great again.
