Woodturning--Olive crotch to a shallow natural edge bowl

Описание: This particular Olive crotch came from an olive tree that was burned, therefore there was no moisture in it and it was extremely hard to turn, the few cracks were the results of the fire and did not appear during turning, I am using a 5/8 bowl gouge from Carter &Son for the most part of the turning and I was really satisfied with the performance of the gouge ( The gouge was bought). I am also using DIY scrapers , and a 50mm Fisch forstner wave cutter bit
I decided to cover the cracks with glue and Brass powder but did not work as I expected , the few gaps in the brass I filled them with fine Olive powder and CA glue
Sanding was from 60-400 and I used Danish oil for the finish, 2 coats 24 HRS apart sand with 400 between coats .

Γεια σας, Αυτο το κομματι Ελιας ειναι απο δεντρο που ειχε καει, επομενως δεν ειχε καθολου υγρασια ηταν εντελως στεγνο και παρα πολυ σκληρο κατα την τορνευση ,τα ραγισματα του ξυλου προυπηρχαν και δεν εμφανιστηκαν κατα την τορνευση, το εργαλειο που χρησιμοποιω ειναι 16 χιλ Bowl Gouge απο Carter & Son και μπορω να πω οτι με βοηθησε πολυ ,χρησιμοποιω και ξυστρες ιδιοκατασκευη και τρυπανι Φ50χιλ της εταιρειας Fisch,πρσπαθησα να καλυψω με μπρουντζο τα ραγισματα τελικα δεν εγινε οπως ηθελα οποτε χρησιμοποιησα κυανοακρυλικη κολλα και πολυ ψιλη ελια, Γυαλοχαρτισμα 60-400 ,και λαδι Δανιας για το τελικο φινιρισμα
