Restoration ecophysiology studies how plants function in a restoration setting. It is useful for the purpose of monitoring vegetation performance, and can assist with decision-making regarding site preparation, species selection etc. While seldom used in a commercial mining context, well-established methodologies exist to measure a range of traits and processes related to growth, stress, survival. In this workshop we will mainly focus on plant water relations as examples to demonstrate selected methods and their application, as well as discuss their practical use and associated logistics.
Workshop recorded on Wednesday 5th May 2021 in UWA, Crawley, Western Australia.
