Описание: In this episode of The Hiking Ham we look at my home solar power setup that I use to power my Icom 7200 and 7300 off the grid. I show the 7300 operating on solar power at the startup of the Geratol Net, one of my favorite nets (stop by sometime on 3.668 at 0100Z, October 1 through April 30). Next I show the PowerWerx battery box that holds a Bioenno 20 Ahr LiFePO4 battery. Both radios take their power from the battery. The battery is also connected through a Renogy 30A Solar Charge Controller which is then connected to two Renogy 100W monocrystalline solar panels. These solar panels are rated at 100W for 20V and 5A. They are connected in parallel providing to the solar charge controller a maximum of 10A at 20V. Please note that I do not represent, nor have I been compensated, by Bioenno, PowerWerx, or Renogy, I just like their products.
