In Nene's minicreche: the creation of watermelon donuts

Описание: Nene sent me this delightful clip of the babies in her minicreche aviary where they are hanging out prior to going into the release creche.
I love how the batties attack the slices of melon from the centre, and get themselves a glorious fruit juice hair style.
I love the careless side spat technique (OK I might have become a tad enthusiastic about this in the video)...
There may have been a cameo of Apropos poking her head out somewhere; I don't think she was the blonde one who featured in the high protein supplement facial.

Thanks for the recent donations, which have been sent to Janine to help her feed all the babies she's taken from this season.

Tolga Bat Hospital takes donations for our batties. Tolga is an awesome place in Far North Queensland, which has charity status. By sending donations to them, they get a percentage (and deserve every cent) and they can allocate money to me for batty expenses without it becoming part of my income stream (which makes tax time difficult).
