A passion project. "Create a FaceBook Page!" they said. "It will be fun!" they said...Picayune Hotshots- A page where people from around town could post their favorite photos. Sounded fun. Sounded easy. 🤣

Occasional photos became Top 10's. Then Hotshots Of The Month (People). Then Hot Spots Of The Month (Places). Then promotional videos, podcasts, "Where We At's?", charity events and even a YouTube Channel! What the??!! How did this happen in less than a year? Heck, I don't know. But what I DO know is along the way I have met lots of new friends that became family. I discovered the magic of Small Town, USA and have seen a community rally during tragedy and lift those up who need it. Picayune shows up. That's what we do. We are Picayune! And I am so humbled and honored to be the guy with a camera and pen who's able to share your story. I guess that's what I've become, a professional storyteller. The pay sucks, but I have the best job in the world!

I've spent the last few days going through hundreds of photos and videos from this year and made a video, "Picayune, 2025." I just wanted to say "Thanks!" to each and every one of you for supporting our humble little "passion project" called Picayune Hotshots.

2026...we will continue lifting up our small businesses, people and places and show the world how it's done! We are going "ALL IN" on promotional videos, interviews and Podcasts and will be dropping our next Podcast soon.
