If you have a great floor jack and a vehicle with pinch welds, you have faced frustration. Without an adapter, you probably can't safely lift your vehicle if it has pinch welds.

I recently purchased the Viveway Jack Pad Pinch Weld Frame Rail Adapter with Magnetic Function for Sub-Frame Vehicle Floor Jack from Amazon. This is a really long name that describes exactly what the product is. Pinch Weld Jack Adapter would have worked as well. It worked like a champ on my wife's 2019 Nissan Rogue. Fit right over the pinch welds and had no problems lifting the vehicle. It felt safe and lifting it with my three ton floor jack felt a lot better than trying to use the Rogue's scissor jack. It was also a lot faster than a scissor jack.

The adapter held up well. It wound up with a small chip or two in the powder coat. That was expected. The lift process is metal on metal and it is an SUV being lifted. Otherwise, there was no damage or deformation to the adapter. Many of the other adapters a read about on Amazon mention damage to the adapter or having to modify it to fit their jack. This fit on the flat lifting area of my Daytona 3 Ton Super Duty pump jack. Make sure it fits your jack properly before lifting your vehicle. If it does not fit according to the manufacturer's instructions, do not lift your vehicle.

I fully expect this pinch weld adapter to provide years of service. I'm a home gamer when it comes to vehicles. This adapter will not be used like it would be in a busy shop.

Use jack stands if working under the vehicle. Never get under a vehicle supported only by a jack. And if anyone is wondering if the chock is on the wrong side of the tire, my driveway is not flat. It has a slight slope toward the street although it may not look it in parts of the video. The chock is placed behind the wheel on the street side. I have yet to have a vehicle roll up that gentle grade.
