Hello ^_^
This is the solo piano piece that I performed on Friday along with "A Dance of Fire and Ice". However, I wanted to re-record this on my keyboard. So here it is!
I wrote a majority of this piece a couple weeks ago when we had a big snowstorm in Connecticut, That's what this piece is based on. A calm, perpetual, storm: no wind, quiet falling snow, trees covered, with the sound of each footstep crunching the newly fallen snow. The small climactic part in the middle is to symbolize a few strong gusts of wind. The end of the piece doesn't land on the tonic, but rather the VI Chord, thus not giving a definite ending. This is to try to evoke a "perpetual" sensation, just like the storm.
