The lead track "Rise & Fall" changes the pacing of the album. It opens up with an emotional melody from the piano, and progresses in to a dynamic state of emotions. Here we explore the emotions of confusion, anger, and grief.

Perhaps the most significant part of the piece is in the b section, where we hear the characteristic melancholic passage played by the lead cello (performed by Mosa Tsay), a voice crying from a place of grief and weeping from a state of pensive sadness. The cello puts forth a valiant effort to rise out of a recurring falling melody.

Will there be a resolution to this long-winded battle?
