BIODIVERSITY AND GEOHERITAGE: The Cave and Karst Connection
The CaveMAB Network invites you to learn about the new IUCN initiative, KEY GEOHERITAGE AREAS, to recognize geoheritage sites of global significance and move towards integrated nature conservation. Geodiversity is part of nature and geoheritage is part of natural heritage which are both at risk. This new designation can help Biosphere Reserves improve and or develop strategies for holistic management, conservation, and sustainable development of the geologic resources and processes that support life on our planet.
