A ride along this 5 mile suburban branch line, which has 6 stations!
153s are the regular traction on the route, though 150s do also make appearances from time to time. The branch is single track all the way and used to continue on to Taff Wells, but was cut back to Coryton in 1952 and then reduced from 2 track to 1 track in the 1960s. Nowadays, the service is half hourly and runs to Penarth.
