Join River Network and the ESRI StoryMaps team for an engaging lesson on the impact of storytelling through mapping! Our expert presenters will deliver an insightful overview of ArcGIS StoryMaps, showcase example stories tailored to the River Network community, share nine essential tips for impactful storytelling, and provide a hands-on demonstration of the platform.
PRESENTERS:
Andria Olson is on Esri’s StoryMaps team and a former map librarian in higher education. She uses place-based storytelling to distill complex topics and loves enabling others to communicate their work creatively.
Heidi Daulton is on Esri’s StoryMaps team and has a background in GIS and environmental science. Prior to joining Esri, Heidi worked across the conservation nonprofit space and loves storytelling for science communication.
