Описание: The tsunami consisted of at least three waves, with the first arriving about 20 minutes after the quake, preceded by a seaward drawdown that exposed the ocean floor; these waves inundated a 25-km stretch of coastline, erasing entire communities like Arop, Warupu, and Sissano, and depositing debris up to 500 meters inland.
